Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
We take the Biblical mandate to go into all the world and make disciples seriously.
Therefore, we are involved in local missions, & mission efforts around the world also.
NACOG supports missions in many different ways. Five percent of our general funds offering is given to support mission efforts within the U.S. and around the world. Our women's ministries raise funds through quilting and events to support missionaries. Periodically short-term mission teams from the congregation are established. Over the past several years teams have gone to Juarez Mexico, Malawi and Uganda.
We also have our Street Ministry that prepares meals and distributes toiletries and other seasonal necessities in the Pittsburgh area to care the for homeless each month.
