We take the Biblical mandate to go into all the world and make disciples seriously.
Therefore, we are involved in local missions, as well as mission efforts around the world.
NACOG supports missions in many different ways. 5 percent of our general funds offering is given to support mission efforts within the U.S. and around the world. Our women's ministries raise funds through quilting and events to support missionaries. Periodically short term mission teams from the congregation are established. Over the past several years teams have gone to Juarez Mexico, Malawi and Uganda.
Another ministry that takes place is Kid's Night Out. This ministry provides families who are fostering or adopting a night out while their children participate in an evening of activities.
We also have our Street Ministry that prepares meals and distributes toiletries a well as other seasonal necessities in the Pittsburgh area to care the for homeless each month.
